The aim of the project was to make use of textual data to obtain useful insights without human intervention. I worked on building a pipeline that gives the user an insight into the YouTube comments section of any YouTuber that the he/she wants to know about. Apart from that I also worked on sentiment analysis of restaurant reviews and readability scores of text.

Foreground Segmentation in Videos with Dynamic Background
An approach using exponential smoothing and tuning parameters to segment foreground in videos with dynamic background in real time.
Reconstructing Perceived Faces from Brain Activations
Implementation of the research paper titled "Reconstructing perceived faces from brain activations with deep adversarial neural decoding" using PyTorch framework.
Just-Justice
A search engine for legal documents which retrieves relevant documents from a dataset of ~2000 documents. I built the User Interface and the backend for the product.
Survey - Delta Models for Biomedical IR
Surveyed the state-of-art Delta models which use deep learning to build an Information Retrieval system for biomedical document retrieval.
IR System Using SMART Notation
Built an IR system for free text queries using SMART (lnc.ltc) notation on a vector space-based model. Dataset used: 1M+ documents retrieved from Wikipedia.
What's That YouTube Channel About?
Used chi-square testing to obtain topics of discussion in comments section of YouTube videos. Obtained sentiment analysis of the comments to know the opinion of viewers.
